OpenBooks Promote allows you to help other Neocities users by placing small ad-like banners on your Neocities site.

So, these are just ads?

Not quite. Here's a few differences:

• OpenBooks Promote will never be used to advertise a product.
• OpenBooks Promote does not track your browsing in any way.
• Promote banners will always be hosted on Neocities, under a secure SSL connection.
• No one is making money off of OpenBooks Promote. Promote is a way to help other's sites, and is not for profit.
